Connect to your Russian roots and learn about the work the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta does in our sister city of Minsk, Belarus. Each year, Federation partners with the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) to send children to summer camps and food packages to the elderly.
Come for an evening of authentic Russian food and vodka and hear from Michael Novick of the JDC as he talks about the work that JDC and the Atlanta community are doing to help Jewish residents in Minsk. At the end of the evening, Federation volunteers on the Former Soviet Union committee will share pictures and talk about their recent visit to Minsk.
