Brilliant and Very Funny Article from Ann Coulter
June 2, 2010
Oil is spewing from beneath a British Petroleum oil rig into the Gulf of
Mexico at a rate of about 1 million gallons a day. There's no end in
sight -- although White House officials have made it clear their goal is
to stop the leak before the midterm elections in November.
Obama now spends at least half of every day answering pointed,
increasingly aggressive questions about the oil spill, most of them from
his daughter Malia.
The president finally went down to take a look at the oil
disaster last week –- which is weird because I didn't even know there
were golf courses near the Gulf. To show his concern, Obama is thinking
about returning some of the nearly $1 million the oil industry donated
to his campaign.
Ha, ha -- just kidding. He's not returning any oil money. But
the situation has gotten so urgent that Obama did take time off from his
golf game to praise the Phoenix Suns for protesting Arizona’s new
immigration law.
He really did endorse the Phoenix Suns, which -- like most of
his endorsements -- has resulted in their being eliminated by the Los
Angeles Lakers over the weekend. (Did I dream this, or was it just
yesterday that President Obama was congratulating Al and Tipper Gore on
their long and happy marriage?)
The media have been crowing that Republicans will lose the
Hispanic vote forever if they support enforcing laws against illegal
immigration, such as the Arizona law. To great fanfare, a poll was
released last week showing that 67 percent of Hispanics oppose the
Arizona law.
The headline on that poll should have been: "One-Third of
Hispanics Support Arizona Immigration Law Despite Frantic Media Campaign
to Convince Them It’s a Racist Plot Against Hispanics."
Incidentally, 67 percent of Hispanics also vote Democrat. The
exact same percentage of Hispanics who oppose the Arizona law voted for
Obama over John McCain -- who was championing amnesty for illegals.
Suck up to Hispanics with insane amnesty proposals; get one out
of three Hispanic voters. Do the right thing and defend the country's
borders; get one out of three Hispanic voters. ... Promise to make every
Tuesday "Ladies' Night"; get one out of three Hispanic voters. Offer
them a choice between "Extra Crispy" and "Original Recipe"; get one out
of three Hispanic voters.
Indeed, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll released
on Tuesday, only 52 percent of Hispanics oppose the law, while 37
percent support it. In other words, more Hispanics support the Arizona
law (37 percent) than voted for John McCain (31 percent) -– which is the
strongest argument for amnesty I've heard in my entire life.
Overall, 66 percent of voters support enforcing the border
before discussing amnesty. A plurality -- 48 percent to 35 percent --
would like their own states to pass a law just like Arizona's, despite
the strong likelihood that the mainstream media will accuse them of
being Nazi police states.
The New York Times' Linda Greenhouse recently compared the
Arizona law to Hitler's policies toward the Jews. You remember how Jews
were constantly sneaking across the border into Nazi Germany?
Finally, in keeping with the White House tradition of only
releasing really good news on the Friday afternoon before the Memorial
Day weekend, last Friday the White House announced that no one in the
administration offered Rep. Joe Sestak a job to drop out of the Senate
primary against Arlen Specter, despite Sestak's claims to the contrary.
After a 10-week investigation, the Obama White House concluded
that Bill Clinton, acting on his own, offered Sestak a nonpaying,
advisory job with the administration.
It sounds like something Bill would tell Hillary after sneaking
back into the house in the wee hours of the morning. "Honest, honey, I
wasn't out with a tawdry cocktail waitress. I was offering some guy I
barely know a job at the Obama White House."
So yeah, I know it sounds fishy, but if Bill Clinton says this
is how it happened, that's good enough for me. Why, Clinton hasn't lied
under oath in front of a federal grand jury for more than a decade.
Incidentally, why do so many Bill Clinton stories end with the
words "nothing improper happened"? As I recall, the definition of
"proper" gets pretty elastic when you're talking about Bill Clinton.
It's too bad Sestak turned down the offer, because if he had
said yes, Obama could claim to have created at least one job, albeit
unpaid.
I have mixed feelings about Obama trying to get Sestak out of
the way in order to help Arlen Specter. As far as I'm concerned, the
only good thing Obama has done so far is to endorse Specter, thus
ensuring his defeat.
Maybe Obama should endorse oil spills.

Glad to see out of all the activity on the forum, our "Conservative Club" is the only one staying alive ;) Good article - some good points with "on target" humor.

Re: Brilliant and Very Funny Article from Ann Coulter
article is so-so. Worth the few minutes it takes to read.
But definition of "brilliant" has been loosened by the liberal establishment. Conservatives, don't fall for it! :)

No II, I am fine. I don't take any drugs even if I'd get a cold, which I hadn't had in a couple of years now. I also have given up from coffee and cigarets, and I feel wonderful. I moved out of Atlanta too.
It is sad to see this website dying, and the only thing I see it reviving is to have someone posting some outrageous posts (just like saying something outrageous and delirious on the radio… like Michael Savage does). That's all there is to it.
This website is used to be alive, and now I see almost nothing. Sad. But maybe that 's how it should be going.

Re: Brilliant and Very Funny Article from Ann Coulter
I wish I could say something about her nice in regard of this article, Tarzan, but I can't... We might agree on something else in the future, because you know well that I am not a liberal or a conservative, neither do I adhere to the Democrats or Republicans agenda. So I'll make it up to you, eventually, ok?
Now, back to the article. She tries to sound like Bill Maher, the dude from HBO, who I begin to dislike every day as I see him on TV or read his blogs on Huffington Post. She doesn't sound funny to me at all, more like sarcastic in an awkward way.
Did Obama really say exactly that way or is it …her… interpretation, assumption rather, of his speeches? Elections I mean, and the promised clean land? I seriously doubt about that. That's where she starts to go astray in her making a point.
She equates the current administration with this oil spill. Is Obama responsible for the drill spill disaster? Is he in charge of BP, who'd messed up with their decisions and responsibilities on having the oil drilled safety?
"Obama spends at least half of the day"… good! Bush couldn't speak a half an hour on a given day.
Then she goes to that States vs Federal rules decisions. My flowers to her, that is something I disagree with Obama administration. It's Arizona's business, even though I have to agree that we, Americans, use those mexican illegal immigrants as slaves. There is a lot of hypocrisy from both sides here (Dems and Reps).
Al and Tipper Gore… now that just is a nasty excretion from the mouth of her. Remember that John Kerry the presidential candidate in 2003 I think,.. giving his views on *** Cheney's doughtier's *** thing, and that he is so proud of that. None of that here is the business of two of them can we have here, and that includes her, the article writer.
Now she goes to Hispanic votes…. Republicans supported and they lost it.. what's so unusual here????
It's just one third, the other two thirds are/were probably illegal here.
1 out of 3 and then you endure with all illegals. That 1/3, probably, consists of Caucasian mexicans, the Conquistador ancestors. There are different mexicans. I talked to one of them .. a white dude obviously, spelled his gutts over the issue, he doesn't like those Chicanos coming across the borders… go figure the Mexicans…
You can only defend the borders by abolishing this stupid slavery…. that no one seems want to admit. My advice, work harder… eat less BK sheeeet burgers, served by hispanic, who are btw much better at the service then black people are.
Then she goes now, 31 and 37… JWB used to call it a fuzzy math. He sucks at the math, but there he is right, by his own admissions. Why wouldn't she bring this up?
Also, to the writer of the article. Don't forget that you are the media too. You are on TV and the radio.
Linda Greenhouse is stupid, and we all don't even know her. Why do you have to bring her here.. she is nothing… despite her affiliation with the NY times (a wonderful newspaper). Then back to the article, common… a job at the Obama White House.. let's be more specific .. it's was a job for the US agriculture department … I don't even know the state.. but not in the white house.. you know that AC… What's up with that? So at the end…. how is that… that she (Ann Coulter) started with the oil spill and ended up with Clinton? One word -- politics, and then, if I may, strong adherence to the party line… just like the bolsheviks did… in old Russia.

Well, I think you are forgetting who she is... She is not a columnist, politician, or someone who is trying to be impartial or balanced. She is open about being controversial, pushing her right-wing viewpoints and demonizing liberals, feminists, Democratic Party members and policies,
environmentalists and Muslims. In my view (and this is where you and I disagree) she does it in smart, witty, and funny way and I love her for it! BTW, when I want fair and balanced, I watch FOX or listen to Egor.

Re: Brilliant and Very Funny Article from Ann Coulter
Ok, Anton. I see u are here viewing posts. Good to see you man!
Just one wrong 'bukva' in my post here and make some fun of it, please. I waited for Tarzan to do that, but he either is ignoring this on purpose or he hasn't noticed that. _________ Just want to add a little... Now Anton is off viewing the forum. Didn't write anything. Seriously, what do I have to do to bring people here?

Re: Brilliant and Very Funny Article from Ann Coulter
Oh, Tarzan… Looks like it's just you and me here. Sad… Ok, I guess. Let's just focus on this article of her that you posted. Forget who she is portrayed in the media, which she is a part of, as I said before. "liberals, feminists, Democratic Party members"… are half of US, Tarzan. Do you hate that half, my soviet-born comrade? It is America. They existed that way long before you and I came here. What's wrong with that? The liberals… I mean… You know, you and I might never end up here, in America, had it not from those liberals in the old days, like the 70s. what is it to be a right-wing one and claim that you are right in your argument. Can you be left-wing and still love this country? I do honestly think that you can, because when you love your country you do critise it even harder to make it even better. Tarzan, as conservative as you are (and I respect you for that), but let's not forget that she, Annya Coulrer, supported McCain in the end, who she hated venomously, and whose legacy at the end is his "clown politic" life, and that is Sarah Palin … he has created her! And she she won't go back in the box. where does it come exactly from someone to be impartial and/or balanced?

Hate is very strong word. There are some people out there that I don't agree with, don't like, or don't have much respect for, but I would not use word hate. Liberals were the ones who hated GWB and Chaney. Now as far as love for our country goes, I think conservatives and liberals have different ways of showing their love. And in my opinion liberals showing their love by ... literally making it with the whole country. But seriously, there are some Democrats who love this country and I respect them for it even though I disagree with some of their views and methods. But enough about me - Ann Coulter is always fun to read and listen (even though sometimes she goes too far) unlike CNN, MSNBC, and others...
You right - it looks like it's only you and I here... BTW, I voted for McCain, even though I did not like him, as a way to vote against "MMM MMM MMM" Berry Hussein Obama.

Re: Brilliant and Very Funny Article from Ann Coulter
Hate is indeed a very strong word, and it's good that you and I agree on this one. Has anyone beside you and I, on this 'conservative club', agreed on here? I have seen many things on this forum, and something tells me that they are not (I might be part of that too, btw). It is not much of using the word but rather than imply to the readers to think so. Your loved one RushLimbaugh said it all right in a comical way, f…..k his mind, at the beginning when he, Obama, took the office…. I say, let's wait and give the guy a chance (he was elected after all, and he is smarter then you and I, and many other people here on the forum, combined).
Ann Coulter and Bill the F…k Maher are always fun to see and read, but they are still the f…..kers of all the time. Tarzan, you are much better. MMM…, Berry is still better then McCain. Would you like a VP who didn't know that Africa is a content, not a country. Should I continue with that one? That is McCain the politic disaster spill on?
