Core Responsibilities:
Under
some supervision:
·
Support and enhance
existing applications developed in .Net and Coldfusion, SharePoint
customization.
·
Analyze business
requirements, create detail designs, develop, and test software.
·
Support, maintain and
enhance existing data structures and stored procedures for existing
applications.
·
Extend & enhance our
web based central applications portal & front-end.
·
Provide
developer/level support for our in-house
developed and package applications.
·
Support, administer, and configure
package applications.
·
Improve package applications by
delivering detailed specifications to the vendor and managing the development,
testing, and implementation of those applications.
Education Level Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
Required Skills:
·
3-5 years of web application
development experience in .Net (C#)
·
Object Oriented Programming.
·
SQL Server skills with SQL and
stored procedures
·
Willingness to work in and foster a
structured development environment
·
Ability to coordinate multiple projects and
multi-task while managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
·
Willingness to take direction but also offer
creative ideas, angles and solutions to enhance impact of communications
·
Work closely with team members to develop
efficient and high-quality applications
·
Keep up to date on industry trends and new
technologies
Desired Skills:
- JavaScript, Coldfusion, CSS, SharePoint

- Experience with developing insurance
applications
