According to press reports (Izvestia newspaper) Georgia has the "best equipped' army in the former Soviet Union.  It appears that a lot of equipment came from the US.  If you look at the canteen of the second soldier in the front row you can see the "US" mark.  The video from the CNN page (my prev. post) shown an interesting Georgian combat vechicle.  I've never seen one like that and I wonder if they bought it somewhere or built it themselves.
