Muidugi:There also was this old Russian saying
Какая кормежка, такая и е**шка. It translates something like "If you want to get satisfied in bed, you better feed your man good"
It is interesting that the voice of dissent, the man in this topic who put the food in second place to the sex, is the American man posting in the topic. If the target of the flirtation is Russian (and again, I neither confirm nor deny), I guess I'd better dust off the pots and pans and get busy. ;)

Re: flirting... how bold is too bold?
Leah,
My ex-girlfriend (the Russian) preferred to have sex BEFORE dinner, so we could focus on the food (and not be worried about the sexual tension). And then have sex again AFTER dinner, because the wine kicked in and we were horny again.
It's all about chemistry, not nationality. Horny people put sex first, but realize that great food and wine deserve to be enjoyed independent of great sex. It's just a coincidence that the horniest woman I ever met was Russian, which keeps me coming back to this site cuz every time I read "RussianAtlanta.net" my mind thinks "hot sex with a sexy russian woman". It's the Pavlov Dog theory. I drink wine, I think about Russian women, and then I go hunting......
Food and sex are pretty much treated the same by the brain. But I can tell you, as a man, that I don't go through the day thinking about all the food I want to eat. I do go through my day, checking out every hot woman, undressing her mentally, and taking her for a hot hard ride. If you women only knew what we men are thinking as we casually talk with you.....

ok, you're mixing 2 things here - The Flirt itself and what happens after. Flirt in itself is a complete activity. No food or sex needed. It can lead to either or both, but doesn't have to. If it does it looses it's purity !

All of this conflicting information..... You tell me to stay in control and not to let the flirting be diluted with other issues. Pom and Muidugi seem to think I should cook. I'm not sure what James Bond is advising. Mark seems so happy that he doesn't even care about the cooking. What to do, what to do.... ;)

It's simple, really . The Flirt is a game, it's to be played. Subject of the game is the Flirt by itself, there is nothing to gain or to loose. If you like - you can take it further, into kitchen or into the bedroom or where ever you wish, cause flirting is nothing without woman (well, gay flirting is just not a sport) ... But once you take it further it stops being the Flirt...you get too close...it becomes relationship ... game is ruined.... fantasy dies...

Re: flirting... how bold is too bold?
Bond is advising: have fun.
Every good relationship starts with sex. Jump into bed with the guy and that's when you really get to know him. It's when the "pillow talk" starts, you can get him to open up ("pillow talk means that time after you have sex when you are both talking very intimately.....it's the conversation at 1am when you get to know somebody). Maybe you will see what he is really about.
I have found that you never really know somebody until after you sleep with them. Once you have shared the physical intimacy, then you can share the mental/emotional intimacy.
More people should have sex.

Are you saying there is no flirt after sex?

I realize you asked KGBMan, but I can't resist commenting. The flirting should always continue, especially after sex.

Re: flirting... how bold is too bold?
i think that flirt is selfish and wicked game, an intrigue, and we're so used to it that we feel like it's an only way for love or LTR as it's called in USA)

Intrigue is delicious. Besides, how can it be bad or selfish if both parties are enjoying? What does LTR mean? I must live in the wrong part of the USA... have never heard this.

Is that what trolling is? Just asking.

Re: flirting... how bold is too bold?
You know, if someone would hurry up and procure that husband he promised to find for me (or even a list of suitable candidates), it would really help me to target my flirting. What if I am aiming all of it in the wrong direction? ;)

Convinced of the correctness of the aim? the only reference I could find....
